What types of events can be hosted at The Westport?
We host a wide range of events, large and small, including weddings, corporate meetings, galas, graduation parties, baby showers, photoshoots, and community gatherings. Our versatile spaces can accommodate nearly any type of celebration.

How do I inquire about availability and book my event?

How many event spaces does The Westport offer?
We offer three distinct and versatile rooms—The Ballroom, The Conservatory, and The Library. These spaces can be rented individually or together, and the layouts are fully adaptable to cater to your specific event needs.

Do you provide parking?
Parking is primarily on the street and in nearby public lots in downtown Chico. We can provide a detailed parking map to help your guests. In addition, we have neighboring private lots that can be rented out at a daily rate.

What is your alcohol policy?
We have a list of vetted professionals to recommend, or you can hire your own. We don't allow a full bar or shots. Instead, we recommend you work with your bartender to create up to two signature, pre-mixed cocktails. It's a great way to personalize your event and keep the bar line moving! Our policies strictly adhere to all ABC regulations.

Can I choose my own caterer and other vendors?
We offer you the flexibility to choose your own vendors for your event. To ensure a seamless experience, all on-site vendors are required to provide a business insurance certificate. We also provide a curated list of vetted vendors who know our space well, and you are always welcome to bring in your own prepared food.

Do you have a dedicated private room for the host?
Yes, our spacious Upstairs Suite serves as a private, well-appointed room perfect for wedding parties, or for crew and talent to use as a staging area for makeup/wardrobe. Included in the suite is a private room for the host and a common area with a large vanity, a kitchenette with a refrigerator, and a space to dine.

What hours are available for events?
Event hours are defined in your contract and include all setup and takedown time. Additional hours may be available for an extra fee.

Is The Westport ADA accessible?
Yes, all our primary event spaces are on the ground floor with wheelchair-accessible entrances and restrooms, and there are accessible parking spots on nearby streets.

What kitchen facilities are available for caterers?
Our catering kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, sink, microwave, and a small warming oven, along with ample space for final food preparations.

What is the maximum capacity for events?
Our venue can accommodate between 10 and 500 guests, depending on the room(s) chosen and the setup style.

What AV equipment is available?
We have smart TVs that can broadcast from your laptop via HDMI. For larger or more complex setups, we work with talented local AV technicians who can handle everything for you.

What is the cleanup process?
We provide standard cleaning. However, you and your vendors are responsible for removing all personal items, decorations, leftover food, and rented equipment by the end of your contracted time.

What is included with my rental?
Our standard rental at The Westport includes your booked space for the full contracted time, complete with tables and chairs for up to 100 guests, as well as our signature trestle tables. You'll also have access to our catering kitchen, modern restrooms, and basic AV equipment like our smart TVs and Sonos system. We also provide a dedicated staff member on-site for the duration of your event, and standard cleaning services are included after your party has concluded.

Can I have my rehearsal dinner there before my wedding?
To ensure every wedding receives our full attention and a completely pristine venue for their big day, we specialize in hosting one main event at a time. We are not structured to host a separate event on the evening before a wedding. We can, however, provide the venue for a one-hour wedding rehearsal ceremony the day prior, if it is contracted. We believe you will have better success finding a fantastic rehearsal dinner spot at one of the many wonderful restaurants in Chico. We are happy to provide a list of our favorite local rehearsal dinner recommendations to help you with your planning.

What rentals are available?
We offer a range of in-house rentals, including mobile bars, bar tables, linens and our beautiful lounge packages from the Nantucket Design & Home legacy. We're also happy to connect you with our close partners: Hosted, A&J Party Center, and Chico Party Rentals for any items we don’t have.

I remember Nantucket Design & Home. Do you still offer interior design services?
Yes! The design spirit is still very much alive. Nan and Sage, are all still actively taking on interior design projects, working with all of our best-selling lines including, American-made upholstery line, Lee Industries. You can see fabric selections and samples in our mini-showroom right here at The Westport by appointment.
